"Dear Kenyan family, I am so sorry for your loss, and I am praying for you all during this really difficult time. What an incredible man John Green (your Dad, Grandpa, Testimony leader) was, his compassion and dedication were inspirational and a true example of walking in faith. He had the ability to shine God’s light in areas of darkness, and his faith and boldness have been a true inspiration to me. It is sad he had to leave this earth but may he rest in peace with his Father in glorious heaven. Thank you for all you have done Mr. Green - your legacy lives on."

"I did not have the privilege of meeting Papa Green personally, but I have had the honour of knowing some of the sons he raised. Through Tony Muhait at Cavina, Pastor Green in the mission field, and the late Pastor Justin at Nairobi Chapel Lavington, I have seen the fruit of his life~men and women grounded in faith, committed to God’s Kingdom, and walking in purpose. Papa Green, you raised a generation that reflects your love for the Lord, your strength, and your legacy. For this, we give God all the glory and praise for your life, your labour, and your love. May the peace of God, His perfect shalom rest upon the entire Green family and Testimony School during this time. With love and heartfelt condolences."

"William Alexander John LOVE He loved and cared genuinely. He would know each and every of his many children and his grandchildren well being . This I knew when my daughter Cara had to go for heart surgery because he would call or ask of her well being. When you met him anywhere he would always have a genuine smile and ask how you or your family were doing. HOPE Through Faith and Love he gave hope and believed in it. "I believe you are the best I.T tech we got, what's your opinion "he would say to me ,mind you was the only I.T tech. Through his Sermons he would narrate how one day he wasn't in position to feed his children but Through his Faith, Love and Hope a miracle came which to him he was telling it as a Testimony. I have Testimony and am a Testimony of God's work through him. Rest well Mr. Alexander John Green"

"With a bittersweet heart, I offer my sincerest condolences. He was surely an Esteemed Founder, Evangelist, and Father to many. If truly were good men, he certainly was one. He ran an amazing race, made an indelible mark, and is now in the eternal presence of our Lord. During my school years, gave me a listening ear when others wouldn't, and later awarded me Smartest Male in School — moments I hold dear to this day. His kindness knew no bounds. His departure is not a loss but a promotion. His boundless love, humility, and faith will forever ripple through the lives he touched.
